 – Male fertility test

Semen Screening

After you arrive at our facility you will be given a container and asked to supply a fresh sample of semen. The sperm will be then separated from the semen and checked for the number of healthy ones, their motility (swimming ability), and the percentage of deformed ones. If the condition of your sperm is poor then you might be prescribed some Chinese herbal medicine and asked to try again in 2 weeks.

Testicles Palpation

If it turns out that your semen has an extremely low sperm count or that the sperm has poor motility (swimming ability) then a testicle exam that includes checking their size, shape, and hardness would be performed. If required you will be checked for varicocele, and retained testis. A prostate exam might also be required.
