What distinguishes us from other hospitals?
Male Fertility Test / Exam       Female Fertility Test / Exam
There are a lot of gynecological clinics and hospitals that claim to put fertility treatment as a figurehead of their business, but very few with the real experience and research that St. Mother's Hospital has. It is not an exaggeration to say that a successful outcome depends on choosing the right hospital. Our hospital has an impeccable reputation and offers an extensive level of services and treatments, some of which are listed below.
Transvaginal ultrasound
Basal body temperature (BBT) is a good but inaccurate method of checking ovulation. BBT provides information used for cycle tracking and prediction. Where BBT lacks, Transvaginal Ultrasound excels in providing accurate and timely ovulation information.
Consistency of treatment
To provide our patients peace of mind, and to ensure that there is continuity in care we try to ensure that the same doctor throughout their time with us will treat them.
Treatments can be performed on Sundays and holidays
Since every woman's ovulation cycle is different, and obviously does not follow the business calendar, a necessary treatment or collection time could be repeatedly missed if she was treated at a clinic that is not open on Sundays or holidays. So as to avoid missing these critical times, we offer treatment on Sundays and holidays.
Artificial Insemination treatment
Correct storage, management, and handling of sperm for use in cases of artificial insemination are necessary. If sperm is not handled correctly then pregnancy will not take place and there even is a risk of infection. We offer the most up to date technologies, techniques, and skills for carrying out artificial insemination.
Hysterosalpinogram
In some cases it is necessary to look at the fallopian tubes to see if a blockage exists. Kimographic uterotubal insuffation or hydrotubation are not enough to make a correct diagnosis. We are equipped for and when necessary can perform a Hysterosalpinogram (HSG) exam, which accurately checks for any malformations of the uterus or blockages in the fallopian tubes.
Ovulation inducing agent: We understand and respect your concerns
Fertility treatment often involves the use of ovulation inducing agents. As it is the case that the larger the number of viable eggs that are collected, the greater the chance of success is, these drugs prove indispensable in the acquisition of the optimal number of mature eggs (about 10). Some clinics try to avoid dealing with this subject. We are aware of your concerns and feel that it is better for you the patient to be informed and prepared when they are used. Our doctors will tell you if, when, what to expect, and how to deal with any side effects.
Academic achievements & experience
Often patients are concerned about having access to their clinical data. If you wish we will show you all your clinical data and explain to you in detail what it means. Our staff carries out hundreds of the most highly technical procedures every week and is at the forefront of fertility treatment. We work hard to keep ahead of the rest by constantly carrying out research into finding the techniques that will provide the most benefit to our patients. Below you can see a table for Success Rates for different reproductive technologies according to age categories.
